Stock valve springs start loosing valve control above ~4200-4500rpm, depending of boost and EMP.
These springs have been tested with 400+hp / 5500rpm combinations.
- This set contains valve springs and 0.8mm hardened shims to allow more valve lift and spring force in TDI VE engines.Seat pressure 95lbs compared to the stock 57Lbs, an increase of 66%.
- Open tension at 12mm lift is 230Lbs compared to the stock pressure of 140Lbs, an increase of 64%.
- Coilbind 17.5mm, stock install height ~30.5 - 31mm = 13mm lift to coilbind.
- Recommended maximum lift 12mm, then 1mm to coilbind, but in this case all clearances must be measured with good accuracy
