Bold grade is 12.9 and it has higher tensile strength than stock VE stretch head bolts, giving more clamping force to prevent head lift and gasket
leak when cylinder pressures raise from stock.
Recommended to use washers from stock bolts, or use 1.9PD washers (N90115702).
Use ARL engine torque sequence:
Stage 1: 40nm (30 ft-lb)
Stage 2: 60nm (44 ft-lb)
Stage 3: additional 90 Degrees (1/4 turn)
Stage 4: additional 90 Degrees (1/4 turn)
When combined with Victor Reinz head gasket, offers good durability even with 300+hp engines.
